Dr Colin McTari is a highly experienced Skin Cancer, Aesthetic, and Reconstructive Consultant with over 17 years of clinical and surgical expertise in dermatological surgery. He is recognised for his precision in complex skin cancer management, advanced surgical techniques, and results-driven aesthetic treatments.
He completed extensive training across major Brisbane tertiary hospitals and has developed extensive experience in private practice. His work is focused on delivering high-level, evidence-based care with an emphasis on optimal clinical and cosmetic outcomes.
Dr McTari holds a Fellowship of Dermatology from the Australian Institute of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the Australian Skin Cancer Institute. He is also a Fellow of IFAAS (International Fellowship in Advanced Aesthetic Science) and a Board Member of the Austro-Asian College of Cosmetic Medicine (ACAM). His additional expertise includes advanced training in dermoscopy (Fellow Member of the International Dermoscopy Committee), complex skin cancer surgery, medical aesthetics, and regenerative treatments, including stem cell-based therapies for skin rejuvenation, post-surgical optimisation, and hair restoration.
Dr McTari is one of the Founders and Medical Director of SKEEN, the first fully AI-integrated skin clinic in Southeast Queensland. In this role, he is committed to advancing dermatological care through innovation, precision, and technology, with a clear focus on elevating patient outcomes and setting a new benchmark in skin health and aesthetic medicine.

Dr Afrasiabi is a highly experienced skin cancer physician with over 14 years of clinical expertise in skin cancer medicine. He holds a Fellowship of the Skin Cancer College Australasia (FSCCA) and an Advanced Certificate in Dermatology from Bond University. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners(FRACGP), allowing patients to consult with him both with or without a referral.
He is actively involved in medical education as a GP registrar supervisor and contributes to the advancement of the field as a blog editor for the Skin Cancer College. Dr Afrasiabi obtained his initial certification in Skin Cancer Medicine from The University of Queensland in 2012, and has since completed multiple advanced certificates and diplomas across skin cancer medicine, dermoscopy, dermatology, and aesthetic medicine.
Dr Afrasiabi is passionate about the early detection and diagnosis of skin cancers, enabling the delivery of effective, minimally invasive treatments.
His areas of expertise include the diagnosis and management of complex skin cancers, comprehensive skin checks, and advanced surgical procedures including flap and graft repairs, particularly on cosmetically sensitive areas such as the face, nose, and ears. He also manages a wide range of general dermatological conditions and offers both surgical and non-surgical treatments for benign skin lesions, including cosmetic mole removal and laser therapies for vascular and pigmented lesions, acne, rosacea, and skin rejuvenation. Additionally, he provides field treatments for sun-damaged skin and solar keratoses, including topical therapies and photodynamic therapy.
